The website, www.NorthAmericanBigfoot.com, is now over two years old. In fact, I made the actual website even before starting this blog. It was a learning process that still hasn’t stopped, but I’m a little better at it now than I was then.
In an effort to avoid doing the report cards that were due by the end of this past weekend, I distracted myself with undertaking a complete make-over of the website. It’s amazing how much I can get done when there’s something I’m trying to avoid! (And yes, the report cards were finished on time…)
(Thanks again, Art, for the cool graphic!)
The website serves a different purpose than this blog. I mostly use the website as a holding tank for data that I collect, while this blog is for sharing my thoughts, adventures, and news-worthy items that I think every bigfooter should know about.
Like I said, the website offers something different. I think that the footprint database and the sound recordings are pretty interesting. I’ve now added a direct link to my Youtube Channel, as well as an online store that I’m playing around with. (I have some very talented friends who will be donating cool bigfoot designs to feature on shirts and other merchandise in the near future. I’ll let you know as things progress.)
While I’m still fiddling with the site, it’s more or less up and running. I’m sure there are a few dead links here and there, so forgive me. In fact, feel free to help and email me about any glaring errors that you find. I’d be interested in fixing them. Please also remember that the site is nowhere near done. My ideas are plentiful, but my time is short!
Oh yeah, one more thing. If you are a regular visitor to my website, you might need to refresh your browser to see the new design.
